Aim
To promote the economic development of Cobram and District.
Objectives
1. To promote Cobram and District to potential new businesses. 2. To encourage expansion of existing business and industries. 3. To provide an effective lobby to Local, State and Federal Governments and instrumentalities. 4. To solicit the co-operation of community organisations and service clubs.

General Information
Cobram is situated on the banks of the Murray River surrounded by farming and fruit growing, and is home to the only inland beach in Australia. It boasts a variety of industry and is the birth place of Murray Goulburn.
Cobram has a proactive health care system, which includes Hospital, Dental and comprehensive Community Health Centre.
Cobram hosts a wide variety of sporting activies catering from the very young to the senior community members. These sports include, tennis, football, soccer, lawn bowls, cricket, netball, basketball, and croquet.
Cobram hosts a variety of schools including Government and Private, Primary and Secondary Schools. TAFE courses can also be accessed through Cobram Community House.
Cobram is also home to a plethera of Service Clubs inlcuding Rotary, Apex, Lions, Kiwanis, Male and Female Probus, and Soroptomists, all of which meet regularly and assist in promoting the town.
Cobram is fortunate to have a sister town Barooga that boasts a Golf Club with two courses, and a Sports Club, both catering for food and entertainment, and an excellent Gym including, indoor pool, spa, sauna, gym and indoor basketball court.
Cobram Development Inc is working with the Moira Shire to promote and support education, industry and business in Cobram. We endeaver to be proctive by encouraging new and innovative projects.
