Business Excellence Awards 2009

The Powercor Moira Shire Business Excellence Awards were held on the 8th of May at Nathalia Community Centre Guests of the evening were inspired by guest speaker Vinny Lauwers who lost his ability to walk after his spinal cord was severed in a motorcycle accident when he was 22,has had a remarkable recovery and was the first disabled person to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted around the world on his custom-made yacht, Vision Quest.

Michael Stokes from Michael on the Murray provided the delicious food for the evening and the evening's MC was Andrew Powrie, the Manager of Economic Development.
